One very popular agriturismo in Cerchio is La Locanda. It is owned and managed by various members of the Ciotti family. La Locanda is a farm holiday located inside the Sirente Velino natural Park near the National Park of Abruzzo.

The area offers you many attractions like wildlife, mountains, and slopes where one is able to visit museum, roman ruines, castles, and preistoric villages.

La Locanda is also an organic farm and makes traditional and genuine food. The owners organize horse riding on the Sirente Velino park lasting up to two to five days, as desired.

The travelors’ every need can be satisfied in the well equipped and beautifully decorated lodging area.

The dining area of the agriturismo hosts rare and authentic pieces of furniture handed down through many generations in the Ciotti family.

The owners of La Locanda have variety of talents. Gabrielle has been known to let his hair down from tiem to time and belt out a few songs on his favorite musical instrument. Neighbors hearing these mellifluous melodies often rush over to join in the excitement.

Guests are sometimes so overwhelemed with joy that they jump up from the tables and begin cooking and serving the owners. Those that have musical instruments always join in, others have been known to belt out a verser or two of “O Sole Mio.”
